Assembled with 1/8″ diameter AISI304 stainless steel aircraft cable with a tensile strength of 1,408 lbs, 1″ diameter nylon balls, stainless steel yokes and copper crimps. Sizes larger than 12″ use a heavy duty retainer ring with a combination of 1″ nylon balls and 2 1/2″ nylon rollers to aid in lowering the flag on sectional steel flagpoles.
Retainer rings may also be used with a stainless steel connecting link and flagsnaps for large, multi-grommet flags on both internal and external halyard flagpoles to keep the flag next to the pole and reduce the strain on the upper and lower flag grommets.
Retainer rings are listed by the base diameter of your flagpole. Example: If you have a 20′ tall flagpole and the base diameter is 5″ you would order a 5″ Retainer Ring. If you need to find out the base diameter of your flagpole measure the circumference of the flagpole and divide by 3.1416.
